Main functions and duties of the Office
(1) Strengthening the connections with Lesotho Government, dealing with relevant cooperation affairs on the economic and commercial fields according to the authorization from the Chinese Government; promoting the bilateral economic and trade development according to China’s laws, regulations and the basic policy on the two countries.
(2) Pushing forward the implementation of China’s diversity policy of international markets and the strategy of “going out to the world”, promoting trade, contract constructions, labor cooperation, investment enterprises in Lesotho.
(3) Doing well for local information collections and studies, and giving publicity in the network; expanding the connections with local figures in the industrial and commercial fields; providing local information of investment environment, economic rules and regulations to relevant Chinese authorities so as to enhance the bilateral economic and trade relations.
(4) Instructing and coordinating the local Chinese companies to promote businesses, strengthen management and ideological education to the personnel of the Chinese companies; assisting Chinese visiting groups to complete their tasks.
(5) Giving publicity of China’s political and economic policies, enlarging China’s influence on Lesotho.
(6) Undertaking the other work from the upper leader administration.
